Curriculum Vitae

Currently, I work as an R&D Scientist on Orbitrap mass spectrometry. Before, I was a Postdoctoral researcher in the Chen group at the ETH Zürich in the field of (Physical) Organic Chemistry and Catalysis. I have obtained my Ph.D. degree with Prof. Lammertsma at the VU University Amsterdam studying reactive intermediates.

My research at the ETH focused on the synthesis and characterization of organometallic intermediates relevant to homogeneous catalysis. Their reactivity has been measured using advanced techniques in NMR spectroscopy and tandem mass spectrometry. Complementary high-level computational studies afford a better understanding of the electronic structure and reaction pathways of these species.
Use the buttons on the left to learn more about my research topics.

For several projects I have performed scientific programming for data processing, fitting, and simulation. Some utilities are available here as well.
Furthermore, I am developing ChemView, a program for the visualization of quantum-chemical calculations.
